Marcus Thigpen is a former NFL running back who discovered a deep passion for writing and inspiring others while playing football. Marcus was moved by the ways his talent coupled with his devotion to Christ encouraged his fans and he dreamed of expanding his impact while pursuing authorship. Resist & Persist, his first autobiography was published in 2019. It captured his triumphs and trials as a professional athlete while prompting readers to transcend beyond their challenges. His first book had a far-reaching impact on all of its readers and Marcus knew that it would not be his last.

While playing football, Marcus also earned a Master's in Psychology and was able to land various roles in movies and TV shows. He is known for being servant-hearted and is determined to continue writing books that inspire and motivate while also pursuing more speaking opportunities. All of these passions are inspired by "crazy faith" in God and his incredible journey as a Dad. Marcus is a proud father of six and his beautiful children inspire him to persevere and to be the best man he can be.
